Items / Marines

Michael Whitehand is one of England's premier marine and historical painters. Michael was born in Bridlington, East Yorkshire in 1941, is a self-taught marine artist. He specializes in oil paintings of marine scenes and currently works out of a studio in Cornwall. Whitehand's style and the quality of his work is reminiscent of Montague Dawson. Just as with Dawson, Whitehand has succeeded in creating atmosphere, excitement and realistic images. this is very good example of the artists work. It came from a private collection in the UK.
