Arthur Bradbury was a Royal Academy artist, born in 1892 and died in 1977. He was a prolific artist best known for his landscapes, marine scenes, portraits and nudes. During his lifetime he was an exhibitor at many of the most important venues including The Royal Academy, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, Royal Society of British Artists, Royal West of England Academy, Walkers Art Gallery Liverpool, Society of Marine Artists, and Society of Pastel Painters. His work is held in permanent collections at the Imperial War Museum Huddersfield, Art Gallery. Bournemouth Town Hall, Russell Cotes Art Gallery, Rothsay Art Gallery & Museum, and the Castle Cornet Maritime Museum Guernsey.
